Burkina Faso has introduced its first domestically assembled electric vehicle, ITAOUA, marking a significant milestone in the country’s automotive industry.
The ITAOUA car is fully electric and solar-powered, capable of covering 330 kilometers on just a 30-minute charge. The production facility is situated in Ouaga 2000, a district in the capital city, Ouagadougou.
