Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, has welcomed the latest court judgment affecting the Labour Party (LP), describing it as a victory for justice and internal democracy.
Reacting to the ruling, Governor Otti expressed confidence that the decision will help restore peace, unity, and stability within the party after months of internal crisis. According to him, the judgment has now cleared the path for genuine reconciliation and a refocus on the party’s core mission of serving the people.
Otti stressed that the Labour Party remains bigger than individual interests, noting that the court’s decision should be seen as an opportunity for all aggrieved members to close ranks, respect the rule of law, and rebuild trust.
He further assured supporters that LP will come out stronger, more united, and better positioned to play its role as a credible political alternative in Nigeria.
