Prospective Candidates Alerted as JAMB Rolls Out 2026 UTME Forms

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially commenced the sale of application forms for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) as well as Direct Entry (DE) admissions, opening the gate for thousands of prospective candidates seeking admission into Nigerian tertiary institutions.

According to the examination body, the commencement of the sales marks the beginning of the 2026 admission exercise, as candidates are expected to obtain their forms through approved channels only, including accredited Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres nationwide.

JAMB urged intending candidates to ensure they meet the required eligibility criteria before registering, stressing that all registrations must be done strictly in line with laid-down guidelines to avoid errors that could affect their admission chances. The board also advised candidates to create or update their JAMB profiles and obtain their National Identification Number (NIN), which remains compulsory for the registration process.

The board further reassured the public of its commitment to conducting a transparent and credible examination, noting that measures have been put in place to curb examination malpractice and improve the overall experience for candidates.

Prospective UTME and Direct Entry applicants have been encouraged to complete their registrations early to avoid last-minute rush and possible technical challenges. JAMB also warned candidates against patronising touts, urging them to rely only on official information and approved registration centres.

As the 2026 UTME journey officially begins, hopeful candidates across the country are gearing up for another competitive admission season.

Facetoface TV Blog will continue to bring verified updates and important guidelines as the registration process unfolds.
