APC Cites Appeal Committee Recommendations
The latest substitutions highlight significant internal realignments within the APC as preparations intensify for the 2027 general elections.
According to the party, the changes were made after careful consideration of the recommendations submitted by the Primary Election Appeal Committee before the final list of candidates was forwarded to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The shake-up is expected to generate fresh political debates in several states, particularly in constituencies where candidates who initially won the party primaries have now been replaced.
