Youth Leaders Gather in Umuahia to Strengthen Civic Engagement and Community Development

A significant milestone was recorded in the ongoing effort to promote youth empowerment, civic responsibility, and sustainable development in Abia State as the Concerned Abia Youths Initiative (CAYI) officially inaugurated its State, Local Government Area, and Ward Coordinators in Umuahia.

The event attracted an impressive gathering of youth leaders, coordinators, canvassers, stakeholders, and community advocates who share a common vision of advancing development and good governance across Abia State. The ceremony underscored the growing role of young people in shaping the future of their communities through active participation and leadership.

CAYI’s Vision for Youth Development

The Concerned Abia Youths Initiative is a non-partisan, youth-driven organization committed to promoting civic engagement, leadership development, accountability, grassroots participation, and community empowerment.

Comrade Steve Nwazuo Receives State Adviser Appointment

One of the major highlights of the inauguration ceremony was the official appointment of Comrade Steve Nwazuo, Chief Executive Officer of FaceToFace TV, as a State Adviser of the organization.

The appointment recognizes his longstanding commitment to youth empowerment, media advocacy, community service, and social development. Over the years, Comrade Nwazuo has remained a strong voice for positive change, using media as a tool for education, public enlightenment, and community advancement.

Speaking after his inauguration, Comrade Nwazuo expressed gratitude to the leadership of CAYI for the confidence reposed in him. Endorsement of Governor Alex Otti’s Leadership
