Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has escalated a heated public dispute with clergyman Pastor Chris Okafor, founder of the Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministries (also called Grace Nation International), by posting fresh allegations on social media that include exposing names of women she claims the pastor had intimate relations with.
In a series of posts shared on Instagram, Ogala challenged Pastor Okafor’s character and questioned his conduct, asking in one post, “What kind of man are you?” while suggesting that several women associated with his church had personal relationships with him.
She reportedly wrote that she knew the identities of church members and choir members with whom Okafor allegedly had intimate affairs, listing names such as Amaka, Chioma and Ezinne and warning against further public comments about his children.
Ogala’s explosive claims come amid a broader, ongoing conflict that began late last year when she made serious allegations against the cleric, including accusing him of influencing her personal life and breaking promises he made to her — claims that drew national attention and controversy.
The pastor has been at the centre of legal and public scrutiny as a result of these allegations. In late January, a Lagos High Court issued an order restraining Ogala and social media commentator VeryDarkMan from referencing Okafor or his ministry online during ongoing legal proceedings.
Okafor previously responded to some of the allegations by apologising publicly at a church service in December 2025, though he also maintained that parts of the public claims were untrue and offered a general apology for “mistakes made in the past.”
As the dispute continues to unfold across social and traditional media, reactions among Nigerians have been intense, with users on platforms like X debating the veracity of the allegations and what they mean for the image of religious leaders in the country.
