Asaba, Delta State — Nollywood actress and entrepreneur, Regina Daniels, has revealed that she has no intention of getting married again following her separation from her former husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
Despite stepping away from marriage, the actress and mother of two said she still desires to expand her family, expressing a strong wish to have a daughter.

Daniels made the revelation during an interactive livestream with popular TikTok personality Jarvis at her Children’s Day carnival held in Asaba, Delta State.
Speaking candidly, she said she has completely ruled out marriage for now but remains open to having more children.
“For some reason, I have completely taken marriage off my mind. However, I still want a daughter, and I am determined to have one,” she said.
The actress explained that raising a girl child carries a deeper emotional responsibility, noting that mothers play a key role in shaping their daughters’ lives.
“I believe motherhood takes on a different meaning when you have a girl child. With boys, you can guide them and ensure they have a strong father figure to look up to. But with a daughter, you become the example she follows and learns from,” she added.
Reflecting on her personal growth, Daniels admitted that her views on having children have changed over time.
“Before I had my first son, I always said I never wanted a daughter. But after having my first and second children, my perspective changed completely. Girls tend to maintain a stronger connection with their families,” she noted.
She also observed differences in emotional attachment between men and women, stating that women tend to maintain stronger ties to their roots even after marriage.
“Men grow up, get married, and become more focused on their own households. Women, however, never truly forget where they come from,” she said.
Regina Daniels and Senator Ned Nwoko got married in 2019, a union that attracted widespread public attention due to their significant age difference. At the time, Daniels was 19 years old, while Nwoko was much older. The couple has two sons together.
Their marriage later faced public scrutiny in 2025 following allegations of substance abuse raised by Nwoko, which Daniels strongly denied. She countered the claims with allegations of emotional control and abuse.
Following the controversy, Daniels moved out of the marriage and established her own residence, maintaining that she is now single and focused on her personal growth and future aspirations.
